For those of you java developers who are looking for a Java implementation of the popular Ruby on Rails framework, look no further than Grails. It is still in early stages of development (0.2.1) but it is not too early to begin using it for personal sites to learn it. Built on the Groovy scripting language for the JVM ( now a JSR ), and with an enthusiastic base of developers, I feel like this framework will begin to pick up steam rather quickly.
